About the role

Join Kelowna General Hospital’s vibrant Emergency Department as an Emergency Medicine Physician. You will work in a high‑volume, tertiary referral centre serving over 100,000 annual ED visits, providing comprehensive care from trauma to complex cardiac cases.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver acute emergency care, including trauma resuscitation and cardiac critical care.
• Collaborate with a collegial team of physicians, consultants, and specialists.
• Participate in teaching activities such as bedside instruction, simulation, and Grand Rounds.
• Contribute to a supportive culture through mentorship, teamwork, and community engagement.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or eligible Emergency Medicine physician.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, tertiary‑care emergency department.
• Enthusiasm for teaching, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Commitment to a collegial, community‑focused work environment.
