About the role

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with nursing, allied health, and specialist teams to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and maintain readiness for acute cases.
• Contribute to departmental quality improvement, education, and research initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Emergency Medicine (FRCPC or CCFP‑EM).
• Current licensure with CPSBC (full, provisional, or eligible for full license).
• Certification in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS.
• Commitment to community‑focused care and teamwork.

Required skills

• FRCPC or CCFP‑EM certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• CPSBC registration (full, provisional, or eligible).
