Emergency Medicine Physician (Full/Part-time)

About the role

Mission Memorial Hospital is seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine physician to join its community‑run emergency department. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and is open to CCFP‑qualified physicians with additional Emergency Medicine training and emergency department experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients presenting to the 24/7 ED.
• Assess, stabilize, and manage acute medical conditions and trauma.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, radiology, and specialty services.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to quality improvement and departmental education initiatives.

Required profile

• CCFP certification (or equivalent) with Emergency Medicine training.
• Current CPSBC registration (US‑certified registration acceptable).
• Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centered care in a community hospital setting.
