Elementary Teacher – 0.7 FTE Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Elementary Teacher to join Diamond Jubilee Public School on a 0.7 full‑time equivalent (FTE) permanent basis. The successful candidate will begin on August 31 2026 and will be responsible for delivering the Ontario curriculum to primary, junior and intermediate students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess instruction in core subjects for grades Primary to Intermediate.
• Integrate French‑as‑Second‑Language (FSL) instruction as required.
• Maintain accurate student records and report progress to parents and the school community.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and administration to foster a positive learning environment.
• Participate in school events, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Accredited member of the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Qualified to teach Primary, Junior and Intermediate grades.
• Valid French‑as‑Second‑Language (FSL) teaching qualification.
• Commitment to the values of equity, inclusion and student wellbeing.

Required skills

• Curriculum planning and delivery aligned with Ontario standards.
• Classroom management and assessment techniques.
• Effective communication with students, parents and staff.
