Elementary School Teacher

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors of Midtown Toronto is seeking Primary Junior OCT Certified Teachers to provide in‑home academic support to elementary students, delivering supplemental assignments and remedial or enrichment help aligned with the Ontario curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic support based on the Ontario curriculum.
• Create supplemental assignments to enhance student understanding.
• Offer remedial and enrichment support tailored to each learner.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress.
• Deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs for students aged four to twenty.

Required profile

• Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with teaching experience.
• Committed to excellent customer service and enjoy working with students and families.
• Great communication skills.
• Hold registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, or be qualified to teach in another Canadian province/territory, or be a current teacher candidate pursuing a B.Ed., or have experience as a lecturer at an accredited Canadian university/college.
• Possess a teaching certification or be completing a degree in Education.
