About the role

dcbel is seeking five Electromechanical Assemblers to join its Montréal team and contribute to the assembly of the next‑generation Home Energy Station (ARA). This full‑time position involves assembling electromechanical components, performing electrical testing, and ensuring product quality as part of a fast‑growing clean‑energy company.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical components and sub‑assemblies using manual tools according to production requirements.
• Rework electrical components with wire strippers, crimping tools, heat guns, and soldering irons.
• Perform sheet‑metal modifications using hole punches, drills, and rivet tools.
• Mechanically assemble electrical sub‑assemblies using impact drivers, torque screwdrivers, and drills while following technical specifications.
• Execute electrical testing of assemblies, adhering to test and safety procedures.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects or failures to maintain product quality.
• Manage and organize cabling, including routing, zip‑tying, and applying heat‑shrink.
• Accurately document work progress, test results, and production data.
