Electrical Apprentice (2nd-4th Year) – Remote Sites

About the role

Wildstone, a family‑owned general contractor, is seeking a motivated 2nd‑4th year Electrical Apprentice to join its electrical team supporting water, wastewater, energy and institutional projects across BC, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain underground and slab conduit, grounding, and building wiring (EMT, Rigid, PVC, Teck).
• Install power distribution switchgear, backup generators, transformers, motor control centers, PLC panels, VFDs, pumps and instrumentation.
• Perform motor control, process instrument and HVAC control wiring while adhering to the Canadian Electric Code and local utility standards.
• Respond to emergency service calls on new construction, modernization and upgrade projects.

Required profile

• 2nd‑4th year electrical apprentice with experience on commercial, industrial or institutional sites.
• Ability to work at heights, from ladders and on elevated platforms.
• Valid driver’s licence and physical ability to meet job demands.

Required skills

• Conduit bending, light‑fixture assembly and installation.
• Teck cable glanding, Unistrut and cable‑tray installation.
• Installation of electrical switchgear and equipment.
