Editor – Medical Communications

About the role

Prime is seeking a meticulous Editor to support its Medical Communications team. You will ensure that a wide range of scientific content – from manuscripts and abstracts to posters, slides and digital assets – meets the highest standards of clarity, accuracy and style.

Key responsibilities

• Review and edit manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slides, PDFs and other digital materials for grammar, spelling, consistency and clarity.
• Align all outputs with internal, client and journal style guides.
• Apply digital markup tools, tracked changes and comments to deliver clear editorial feedback.
• Proofread typeset copy, checking layout, figures, tables, colors, resolution and overall presentation.
• Verify redrawn figures, PowerPoint decks and PDFs against original submissions.
• Ensure copyright and author permissions are secured and correctly referenced.
• Maintain and update client‑specific style guides.
• Perform dummy submissions and monitor journal or congress requirements.
• Collaborate proactively with internal teams to uphold best practices.

Required profile

• Exceptional command of English spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for precision.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word’s track‑changes and commenting features.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat for PDF review.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint for figure and slide verification.
• Knowledge of journal and congress submission guidelines.
