About the role

Join a leading financial client’s Legal e‑Discovery team as an eDiscovery Law Clerk. You will manage the full lifecycle of electronic discovery activities for litigation and regulatory matters, ensuring proper handling, preservation, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple cases from initiation to completion using advanced e‑discovery technology.
• Collaborate with litigators to define custodians, search terms, and discovery parameters.
• Draft and issue legal hold notices, monitor custodian responses, and conduct interviews.
• Instruct technicians on database setup in review platforms and support legal counsel with technology tools.
• Maintain documentation, chain‑of‑custody logs, and quality‑control processes.
• Monitor case review status, coordinate legal hold lifting, and assist with case closure.
• Provide technical guidance to legal professionals and act as liaison between the Line of Business and the Legal Group.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in the legal industry or a recent Law Clerk/Paralegal certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, independent worker who also thrives in team settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑discovery technology and software tools.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, legal terminology, and litigation documentation.
• Basic math and accounting skills.
