Ecommerce Product Manager (Shopify)

About the role

We're seeking a technical, detail‑oriented Ecommerce Product Manager to own our Shopify ecosystem end‑to‑end, drive the website roadmap, and manage the external agencies who build and design it. The role requires deep knowledge of the Shopify app stack, a sharp eye for design and UX, and the ability to hold agencies accountable to a high bar.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Shopify store, third‑party apps (Recharge, Klaviyo, Gorgias, OctaneAI, etc.) and the overall ecosystem.
• Oversee conversion tactics such as quizzes, cross‑sells, upsells and maintain the core shopping journey (search, navigation, product reviews).
• Act as the internal subject‑matter expert on all things Shopify and translate business needs into clear briefs for the agency.
• Manage external web development and design agencies: set priorities, review deliverables, ensure work is on brand, on time and on scope.
• Develop and execute A/B testing roadmaps, monitor site performance and report weekly.
• Troubleshoot customer issues (account login, payment updates, subscription management) and coordinate with third‑party support.

Required profile

• Experience in ecommerce, preferably at a direct‑to‑consumer brand.
• Hands‑on experience with Shopify Plus and Recharge as a merchant.
• Technical comfort with the Shopify admin, theme editor, app configurations and basic code.
• Proven ability to manage external agencies or vendors, set briefs and hold them to deadlines.
• Strong, opinionated eye for design and ability to push back on sub‑par work.
• Creative problem‑solver who can act quickly and work autonomously in a fast‑changing environment.
