Early Childhood Educator – Temporary Full‑Time

About the role

Join BGC Okanagan’s Cameron Park Club as a full‑time Early Childhood Educator on a temporary basis. You will make a meaningful impact on children and families while working in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcomes new children and families, ensuring enrolment paperwork meets licensing requirements.
• Plans, delivers and evaluates developmentally appropriate activities, creating daily schedules that balance indoor/outdoor, active/quiet and group/individual time.
• Maintains a safe, culturally responsive environment, administers first aid and medication, and addresses children’s physical needs such as diapering, toileting and feeding.
• Documents progress, behaviours and referrals, collaborates with therapists and communicates regularly with parents about development.

Required profile

• Early Childhood Education Certificate with a current licence to practice.
• At least one year of recent, related experience or an equivalent mix of education and training.
• Clear criminal record check and successful completion of the agency’s screening process.
