Early Childhood Educator

About the role

The Early Childhood Educator will join Académie Montessori Brossard’s full‑time, on‑site team in Brossard, QC. You will create and deliver Montessori‑inspired learning experiences for children aged 6 months to 6 years, fostering independence, confidence and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori activities that meet each child’s interests and needs.
• Guide children through hands‑on learning, supervise play, and ensure a safe, welcoming classroom environment.
• Observe and document children’s progress, sharing insights with families and staff.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to organize materials, maintain classroom routines and support smooth daily operations.
• Promote positive social interactions, self‑regulation and an inclusive atmosphere.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and clear communication.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and experience with children 6 months‑6 years.
• Creativity in designing Montessori‑aligned activities and environments.
• Excellent organization to manage routines, materials and documentation.
• Relevant early childhood education training or certification; familiarity with Montessori is an asset.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow regulatory standards and centre policies.
