Early Childhood Educator II (ECEII)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator II (ECEII) to join our team at Explorer's Childrens Centre. The successful candidate will work in a positive, collaborative environment, actively engaging with children and fostering a fun, supportive learning atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent program delivery.
• Observe and document children’s progress and communicate observations to families.
• Adhere to all centre policies, including health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• ECEII certification recognized by the Province of Manitoba.
• Ability to work well within a team and create a joyful atmosphere for children.
• Clear Child Abuse Registry clearance and a clean vulnerable sector search.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Commit to Kids certification or willingness to complete it.
• Accessibility Training or willingness to complete it.
