BGC Okanagan is hiring a passionate full‑time Early Childhood Educator Assistant for our Early Years Program at the Martin Avenue club in Kelowna, BC. If you’re enthusiastic about helping children learn, grow, and thrive, this is the place for you!

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing and delivering developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
• Monitor, guide and support children in daily routines, including diapering, toileting, eating and sleeping.
• Model positive behaviour management techniques and promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social skill development.
• Maintain safe, clean program facilities and equipment, reporting any repairs.
• Administer first aid and medication according to policy.
• Identify and remove potential hazards to ensure a healthy environment.
• Maintain records and report concerns to senior staff.
• Establish positive communication with parents/guardians.

Required profile

• Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Successful completion of agency screening process, including a criminal record check.
