Drywall Installer – Commercial & Residential

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team in Edmonton. You will work on both commercial and residential projects, ensuring high‑quality finishes on walls and ceilings while following safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs.
• Apply successive coats of joint compound, sand seams, and finish corners.
• Install metal corner beads, wire mesh, and suspended metal ceiling grids.
• Mix plaster to the correct consistency and apply smooth coats.
• Use taping machines to embed tape and finish joints.
• Spray acoustic or texture materials on walls and ceilings.
• Cut openings for HVAC, electrical, and ventilation systems.
• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages and handle materials up to 23 kg.

Required profile

• College‑level certificate or diploma (1‑2 years program).
• 1 to less than 2 years of drywall installation experience.
• Ability to supervise 1‑2 workers.
• Flexibility, reliability and strong teamwork.
• Comfort working in dusty, on‑site environments.
