Driver Coordinator – Dispatch Operations

About the role

Join Seaboard Transport’s operations team as a Driver Coordinator, the central hub that keeps our drivers moving and loads delivered on time. Based in Moncton, you’ll work in a fast‑paced environment coordinating schedules, dispatching loads and supporting drivers throughout their day.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain driver schedules, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Receive, verify and enter customer orders in the TMW system, then efficiently assign loads.
• Dispatch loads with full details – shift plans, truck assignments and route information.
• Confirm deliveries, update systems and promptly escalate any issues to management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, answering questions and resolving challenges.
• Monitor safety, service incidents and performance metrics to keep operations on track.
• Provide after‑hours support by handling calls and delivering real‑time solutions.
• Collaborate with the broader operations team to ensure every load, route and driver stays on schedule.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in business, logistics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics; dispatch experience is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with ELD systems and TMW software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Team‑player attitude with a passion for problem‑solving.
