About the role
Manitoulin Transport, part of the Manitoulin Group of Companies, is hiring a full-time afternoon dock worker in Cambridge. The company operates an extensive transportation network across North America and offers dependable, on-time delivery. The shift runs from 15:00 to 23:30, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trailers
- Distributing freight to P&D drivers
- Documenting overages, shortages and damages
- Reweighing and cubing freight
- Moving and sorting freight while keeping the yard and warehouse clean
- Following health and safety and company policies
Required profile
- Valid driver's licence
- Forklift experience
- Ability to work well with others, take direction and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Able to solve problems as they arise
