Dishwasher (Seasonal)

About the role

Prospect Point Café is seeking a hands‑on, efficient Dishwasher to join its kitchen team during the busy summer season. The role supports the Head Chef and Line Cooks by ensuring all dishes, cutlery, glassware and cooking ware are clean, sanitized and ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload the commercial dishwasher, checking each item for a clean appearance.
• Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness, including work surfaces, floors, prep areas and walk‑in cooler.
• Assist with daily shipping, receiving and distribution of kitchen supplies.
• Remove garbage, recycling and waste to designated storage areas.
• Follow opening and closing procedures, HAACP and Food Safe requirements, and the Team Member Handbook.

Required profile

• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays throughout the summer contract.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lb.
• Positive attitude with a strong desire to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Comfortable working in a high‑temperature, high‑pressure environment during peak service.

Required skills

• Food Safe Level 1 certification (asset).
