About the role

The Director, Value Creation will lead the modernization of OPTrust's Private Markets investment workflows and drive AI‑enabled value creation across a $13.5 billion portfolio. This senior position combines deep private‑markets expertise with process transformation, data analytics, and emerging AI technologies to enhance investment decision‑making and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement modernized investment workflows for infrastructure, private equity, and real‑estate assets.
• Integrate AI and advanced analytics tools to generate actionable insights and improve portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with investment teams, data scientists, and technology partners to embed data‑driven decision processes.
• Lead cross‑functional process‑transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the fund’s strategic objectives.
• Monitor and report on the impact of AI‑enabled solutions on operational efficiency and investment outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in private‑markets investment or related finance functions.
• Strong track record of driving process transformation and operational improvement.
• Deep understanding of AI, data analytics, and their application in investment contexts.
