Director of Operations & Supply Chain

About the role

Summit Water is looking for an experienced Director of Operations & Supply Chain to lead operational excellence across its growing portfolio of water systems, pumps, and service operations. This hands‑on leader will drive efficiency, build scalable processes, and support the company’s expansion in the water industry.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise production, supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity and overall operational performance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
• Strengthen inventory, purchasing and logistics processes to support business growth.
• Improve operational systems, reporting and ERP processes for better visibility and decision‑making.
• Standardise processes across multiple divisions to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Partner with sales, finance and service leadership to align operational priorities with company goals.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Identify margin‑improvement opportunities and support long‑term profitability.

Required profile

• 8+ years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing or distribution.
• Proven track record of process improvement, efficiency gains and operational transformation.
• Strong experience with ERP systems, KPI management and operational planning.
• Experience leading multiple teams or departments in complex environments.
• Hands‑on leadership style with strategic thinking and execution capability.
