Director of Manufacturing

About the role

BC Green is looking for an experienced Director of Manufacturing to join its senior leadership team in Princeton, British Columbia. Reporting to the President and COO, you will be accountable for the performance, scalability, and operational integrity of the entire manufacturing system, from harvested cannabis to finished product ready for shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the manufacturing operating strategy, translating enterprise objectives into an integrated production plan.
• Lead the annual manufacturing planning cycle, including capacity, labour, and capital investment planning, and ensure quarterly delivery against the plan.
• Monitor system performance across economics, product quality, grade preservation, infrastructure reliability, and safety, intervening when targets are missed.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities with Cultivation, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure clean handoffs and protect product quality.
• Identify, scope, and lead continuous‑improvement and infrastructure projects that enhance reliability, quality, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Own safety and regulatory compliance across production, maintaining active workplace safety programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior manufacturing leadership roles, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Princeton, BC with regular presence on the production floor.
