Director of Ecommerce, Marketplace Operations

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Ecommerce, Marketplace Operations to lead and grow our presence on major online marketplaces, primarily Amazon and Walmart. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of product listings, inventory, and performance reporting to drive sales and brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall marketplace operations strategy for Amazon, Walmart and other e‑commerce platforms.
• Oversee product setup, catalog accuracy, pricing updates, content, images, attributes and descriptions.
• Manage marketplace portals such as Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link and Item 360.
• Ensure listings are optimized for search visibility, conversion and brand consistency.
• Monitor performance metrics including sales, sell‑through, inventory, chargebacks, compliance and customer experience.
• Partner with Sales, Production, Logistics and Planning to align product launches, inventory availability and shipping requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and reporting enhancements.
• Maintain compliance with packaging, labeling, routing guides, ASN, EDI and retailer‑specific standards.
• Provide regular data analysis, insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Support promotional planning, seasonal launches and account growth strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of experience in e‑commerce, marketplace operations or digital retail.
• Strong background in wholesale, apparel, fashion or consumer goods environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
