Director, Catalytic

About the role

Power to Change is looking for a Director, Catalytic, a national leadership role reporting to the Chief of Staff and sitting on a national leadership team of the organization's core mission-context leaders. The Director identifies and advances high-impact opportunities that mobilize 10,000+ Communities on Mission across Canada and beyond, turning emerging ideas into initiatives that can grow, multiply and endure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize high-leverage opportunities for mission growth, setting clear criteria for experimentation, scaling and integration.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with churches, networks and national partners to expand distribution pathways.
• Champion disciplined innovation and guide initiatives from ideation through execution and multiplication.
• Contribute to national innovation, discernment and organizational priorities, and represent Power to Change in key national conversations and partnerships.
• Lead the development of catalytic initiatives so they strengthen rather than fragment the organization, and steward key resources.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in Kingdom-minded initiatives, innovation environments or complex strategic initiatives.
• A track record of launching or advancing initiatives that have scaled or multiplied.
• Proven ability to build strategic alliances and partnerships across organizations, sectors or networks.
• Demonstrated contribution to senior leadership, organizational direction and strategic decision-making.
• Deeply committed follower of Jesus, grounded in prayer and aligned with the organization's mission.

The role also involves Ministry Partner Development (MPD), building a team of financial and prayer partners; training and coaching are provided. Applications are made by submitting a cover letter and résumé to the organization's president.
