Director, Business Performance (Quebec)

About the role

The Director, Business Performance will report to the Senior Vice President and lead analytics‑driven initiatives that improve margins and operational excellence for Quebec‑based value‑added manufactured products. This senior position combines strategic pricing, cost management, and performance reporting to support superior business results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead margin‑expansion projects in partnership with Commercial and Operations teams.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to set pricing, design promotions, and drive product innovation.
• Develop pricing strategies and monitor margins to achieve financial targets.
• Provide business insights that enable sound decision‑making across commercial activities.
• Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to control operating costs and promote operational excellence.
• Use disciplined analysis, modeling, and forecasting to inspire performance improvements.
• Continuously improve performance reporting and decision‑making methodologies.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or food‑processing environments.
• 5+ years in a director‑level or senior‑manager role.
• Post‑secondary education in finance; CPA, MBA or similar designation preferred.
• Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and proven decision‑making ability.
• Willingness to travel as business needs dictate.
• Bilingual (French/English) with ability to work onsite in Levis or Saint‑Bruno and collaborate across Canada.
