Dining Room Server

About the role

Le Pois Penché is seeking a full‑time Dining Room Server to join its lively downtown Montréal brasserie. You will provide attentive, courteous table service, guiding guests through the menu and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down the dining room, keeping service stations clean and organized.
• Take accurate orders, serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards, and manage payments using the POS system.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to deliver timely, high‑quality service.
• Prepare tables between seatings and handle guest requests or concerns professionally.
• Learn daily specials, menu details, and wine or beverage offerings to make tailored recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset with a commitment to creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; functional French is a strong asset.
• Previous food‑service experience in a restaurant or similar setting, including knowledge of table service and basic food‑safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, multitask, and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
