Digital Services Architect

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Digital Services Architect to lead the design, integration and validation of digital railway solutions. You will work across cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless interoperability of digital services and support the evolution of Alstom’s digital architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Assess RFPs and project needs, analysing functional and technical requirements (RAMS, validation criteria, internal specs).
• Identify integration topics, coordinate with subsystem managers and define end‑to‑end validation activities.
• Perform system‑level analysis, conduct performance assessments and propose improvements.
• Design and validate overall technical architecture, produce documentation and define interfaces.
• Support the validation strategy, execute testing, document results and provide actionable reports.
• Design and implement test environments, ensure required tools and data are available, and troubleshoot issues.
• Promote standardisation of digital integration processes and maintain architecture reference models.
• Lead knowledge‑sharing initiatives, training plans and benchmark activities to align with latest technology trends.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate or diploma in Information Systems, Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing industrial projects with a strong technical background in IT and OT systems architecture.
• Experience with technical architecture, cloud services and IT process delivery is desirable.
