Digital Marketing Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Officer to develop and implement communication and marketing strategies that enhance our brand visibility and support fundraising initiatives. The role combines event planning, content creation, and data‑driven analysis to reach target audiences across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute publicity, fundraising and informational events.
• Develop, evaluate and implement communication strategies and programs.
• Prepare written materials such as reports, briefs, website content, speeches, press releases and newsletters.
• Produce educational and promotional programs to generate interest in key topics.
• Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies and prepare analytical reports.
• Act as spokesperson, handle media inquiries and maintain media contacts.
• Coordinate special publicity events, promotions and advertising campaigns.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research, surveys and trend analyses.
• Manage online marketing, e‑commerce and website promotion activities.
• Prepare funding applications and deliver presentations at conferences or workshops.
• Leverage NLP and AI tools to create communication assistance features.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP level education in business, marketing or a related field.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in digital communication, media or marketing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French.
• Strong initiative, organization, dependability and integrity.
• Attention to detail, personal internet access and own tools/equipment.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
