About the role
ABB is hiring a diecaster (G03) in Fort Smith, reporting to the Production Manager. The role involves operating process equipment or machinery to turn raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts at the right time and with the required quality. Tasks follow agreed workflows, ABB standard processes and safety guidelines, and any non-compliance is reported.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine machinery set-up, adjustments and repair and fit simple replacement parts.
- Ensure regular standard maintenance of equipment, tool set-up and programming activities, troubleshoot and report issues, and keep detailed records of set-ups, repairs and maintenance.
- Keep track of approved, defective units and final products.
- Operate machines according to the operating manual, work schedule and production order instructions.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 0-2 years of manufacturing experience.
