DevOps Specialist (Montreal)

About the role

Techso, a leading digital transformation consultancy, is expanding its Montreal team and seeks a DevOps Specialist to deliver cloud‑native solutions for clients across Canada. The role combines hands‑on engineering with client‑facing consulting, requiring bilingual communication in French and English.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to design and configure project‑specific systems.
• Architect, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructures on AWS and/or Azure.
• Manage deployment pipelines, monitoring, and operational maintenance, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Contribute to the evolution of the technical foundation using Git, Ansible, Terraform and related tools.
• Provide technical training and documentation to client teams.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, covering evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ensure delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional DevOps experience.
• Strong expertise in Linux environments (Ubuntu, RedHat, Debian).
• Fluent written and spoken French and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools: Ansible, Terraform.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash.
• Version control with Git.
• Agile development methodology.
