DevOps Specialist – AWS and Azure

About the role

Techso is seeking a DevOps Specialist with deep expertise in AWS and Azure to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for clients across Canada. You will operate at the intersection of development and operations, ensuring reliable, automated, and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and configure cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and enhance AWS and Azure architectures.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and application deployments using IaC tools.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain systems in production, handling incidents and performance tuning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support containerized/orchestrated workloads.
• Provide technical training sessions and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Ensure solutions meet quality standards, budgets, and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years in a DevOps or similar role.
• Strong Linux background (Ubuntu, Red Hat, Debian).
• Extensive experience with AWS and Azure services.
• Proficiency with automation/IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and scripting in Python or Bash.
