DevOps Engineer

About the role

Rd8 is looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead platform operations and ensure high performance as the user base grows. You will work on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, developer experience, and security compliance within a cutting‑edge product development ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, monitor, and scale Google Cloud Platform environments using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and related automation tools.
• Enhance local development workflows to boost engineering productivity.
• Own security posture and manage data‑security compliance (e.g., ISO27001) with automated tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deliver platform features.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP, with Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI/CD (or similar).
• Strong proficiency with Git and common Git workflows.
• Familiarity or willingness to work with data‑security compliance frameworks like ISO27001.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with high self‑motivation.
• Solid programming skills in scripting languages.
• Experience with hybrid SaaS + on‑premise solutions is a plus.
