DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Specialist

About the role

Capgemini is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will work on‑site in Mississauga, collaborating with development, QA, and security teams to improve the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage and optimise cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, applying Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
• Containerise applications and orchestrate them with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.
• Automate operational tasks with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripts.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, disaster‑recovery readiness and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Enforce DevSecOps and compliance best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across development, QA and security teams.

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM.
• Containerisation & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell.
• Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog.
• Networking, security and system architecture fundamentals.
