DevOps Developer – CI/CD Automation Engineer

About the role

Octasic is seeking a DevOps Developer to bridge software development and IT operations. You will design, implement and maintain CI‑CD pipelines, automate deployments and ensure the reliability and security of our wireless and multimedia platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize existing Jenkins pipelines for speed, stability and maintainability.
• Improve Jenkins agent usage, queue times, executor allocation and build reliability.
• Integrate security checks such as dependency scanning, secrets detection, static analysis and container image scanning into CI/CD workflows.
• Build and maintain Grafana dashboards for Jenkins, agents, pipelines, servers and security signals.
• Define alerts for failed builds, offline agents, high resource usage and abnormal failure patterns.
• Standardize pipeline structures, shared libraries, credential handling and plugin practices.
• Review and enhance current CI/CD processes for performance and security.
• Automate reporting and routine maintenance using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Document pipeline standards, monitoring dashboards and security procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration or software engineering.
• Hands‑on experience supporting production environments in a technology‑driven organization.
• Strong background in Jenkins pipeline development and Jenkins administration.

Required skills

• Jenkins (pipeline creation, administration, plugins).
• PowerShell, Bash or Python scripting for automation.
• Grafana dashboard creation and monitoring.
• Security tooling for dependency scanning, secrets detection, static analysis and container image scanning.
• CI/CD concepts and build/deployment automation.
