Desktop Support Associate – Hybrid, Toronto

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Support/Desktop Support Associate to deliver hands‑on technical assistance in a fast‑paced, regulated financial environment. The role combines end‑user computing support with infrastructure operations and contributes to service delivery across corporate systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Install and configure operating systems, applications, security updates, and patches.
• Support user onboarding and off‑boarding, managing access via Active Directory and ServiceNow.
• Assist with system administration tasks including Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, VMware, backups, and monitoring.
• Participate in technology recovery and business continuity testing.
• Maintain documentation, support tickets, and asset inventory.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or Systems Administration.
• Strong background in Windows environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Post‑secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Comfortable working onsite in downtown Toronto and handling physical hardware setup.
