Deputy General Manager – Aviation MRO

About the role

The Deputy General Manager will support the senior leadership team of an established aviation MRO operation in Ontario. This senior position is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day site activities, driving growth initiatives and ensuring high performance across all operational areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations covering aircraft maintenance, production, quality, interiors, paint, refurbishments and modifications.
• Collaborate with commercial leadership to align operational capabilities with business objectives.
• Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Support strategic growth projects, including new service offerings and capacity expansions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in aviation MRO, aircraft maintenance or related technical fields.
• Proven leadership in managing large, cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work closely with senior management.
• Demonstrated track record of improving operational performance and supporting business growth.
