Dealership Accountant – Vehicle Sales & Finance

About the role

Join Go Auto as a Dealership Accountant and play a central part in keeping vehicle sales accurate and financially sound. You will work closely with the Controller and Operations team, handling everything from posting deals to supporting month‑end financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Post vehicle deals (new, used, wholesale, dealer trades, fleet) in the dealership system.
• Maintain clean schedules and ensure financial data is up‑to‑date.
• Reconcile factory program funds to vehicle sales.
• Enter vehicle invoices into CDK, capturing all transactions.
• Calculate commissions accurately and maintain related schedules.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements through reconciliations.
• Prepare fiscal year‑end working papers to support audit processes.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on numerical accuracy.
• Positive, professional attitude that contributes to a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to handle tasks across multiple departments and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building, maintaining, and reconciling spreadsheets.
• Experience using CDK dealership management software.
