About the role

The Dealer Development Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with automotive dealerships across Alberta. Reporting to the National VP of Sales, the role focuses on expanding LGM’s aftermarket product and service portfolio within existing and new dealer accounts.

Key responsibilities

  • Visit dealerships to establish new accounts and nurture existing relationships.
  • Support dealers in improving profitability and overall dealership performance.
  • Train dealership personnel on LGM products in partnership with the Dealer Training group.
  • Provide daily performance reporting and monthly visibility into dealer results.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with active dealerships alongside the Director of Sales Effectiveness.

Required profile

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive sales or representation.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for work.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in a challenging sales environment.
  • Proven track record of driving performance in an indirect sales structure.
  • Post‑secondary education and readiness to complete any required licensing.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
