Data Scientist II

About the role

Bell Business Markets is looking for a Data Scientist II to drive advanced analytics across enterprise‑scale solutions. You will work with cross‑functional teams to turn complex data into actionable insights that power IoT, 5G, cloud, cyber security, and other digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to define data‑science objectives and translate them into predictive strategies.
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced predictive models and machine‑learning algorithms, including deep‑learning solutions.
• Analyze large structured and unstructured data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Build and maintain robust data‑quality controls and end‑to‑end data pipelines, automating data ingestion and preprocessing.
• Create clear visualizations and presentations to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Refactor, test, and monitor existing models to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify new data sources and propose innovative, data‑driven solutions.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best‑practice methodology improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data science or analytics.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects independently.
