Data Entry Clerk

About the role

The Data Entry Clerk supports radiology operations by efficiently processing inbound patient referrals. Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, the clerk ensures accurate data entry, smooth workflow within the PACS system, and timely communication between referring practitioners and internal staff.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process inbound referral spreadsheets accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and manage correspondence within the PACS system to maintain workflow continuity.
• Track daily referral volumes, outcomes, and workflow metrics for reporting.
• Ensure all referral documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support effective patient care coordination.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage repetitive, high‑volume tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and processes.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare or diagnostic imaging is preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is an asset.
