Data Discovery & Enrichment Expert I – Bilingual (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

This full‑time position sits within LexisNexis' Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization. You will learn best practices for creating training data, evaluating AI model outputs, and applying your legal expertise to generate actionable insights for product development. The role starts with simpler projects and progresses to more complex assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform legal research and analysis to support AI training data creation.
• Communicate actionable feedback and insights to data scientists and product teams.
• Learn and apply best practices for training‑data creation, relevance evaluation, and annotation.
• Provide support to Leads and Senior Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts.
• Participate in presentations to internal stakeholders.
• Advocate for responsible AI practices.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree.
• Bilingual – fluent reading and writing in English and French.
• Minimal professional legal experience with strong legal research and writing skills.
• Problem‑solver mindset with a customer‑centric attitude.
• Interest in machine learning and natural language processing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with agile and lean methodologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
