Data Analyst – Enterprise Data Platforms

About the role

The Data Analyst is a core member of BDC’s Data Platforms and Tools team, responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the bank’s Enterprise Data Platforms. You will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, data governance specialists, and business analysts to provide timely, high‑quality data for advanced analytics and actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and document source data to understand structure, lineage, and business relevance.
• Translate technical data structures into business‑friendly formats and create mapping documentation.
• Identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps; collaborate with data engineers to resolve them.
• Develop and maintain data‑quality dashboards and reports.
• Support root‑cause analysis and resolution of data‑related incidents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
• Provide ad‑hoc data extracts and support internal users as needed.
• Estimate user stories based on defined acceptance criteria and align with data‑engineering workflows.
• Participate in the user community, share insights, and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and the Data Governance team to ensure compliance with data policies and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of industry experience working with data platforms, data quality, or data analytics.
