About the role
Join Walmart Canada as a Dairy & Frozen Associate and help deliver a safe, well‑stocked grocery experience for customers. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, ensuring the dairy and frozen sections meet the highest standards of quality and service.
Key responsibilities
- Zone the department and rotate stock to keep products fresh.
- Check for expired items and remove them promptly.
- Ensure all merchandise is correctly signed, priced, and displayed.
- Follow cold‑chain compliance, calibrate thermometers, record temperatures, and adhere to food‑handling procedures.
- Maintain sanitation standards, clean the area, and keep it free of debris and liquids.
- Process ordering, clearances, mark‑ups/markdowns, and labeling according to store policies.
Required profile
- Minimum age of 16 years.
- Ability to work in refrigerated environments and lift moderate weights.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.
- Flexible availability for various shifts.
Required skills
- Operating temperature‑monitoring equipment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Fundamental math skills for pricing and inventory tasks.
