About the role
The Customs Rater reports to the Customs Manager and is responsible for rating, releasing and managing customs transactions for a portfolio of clients. The role ensures all deadlines are met to deliver outstanding service.
Key responsibilities
- Rate, release and oversee customs transactions for assigned clients.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Monitor deadlines and coordinate with internal teams to meet client expectations.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in the customs brokerage industry.
- High school diploma; CCS designation is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, detail‑orientation and multitasking abilities.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of the CargoWise One system (asset).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
