Customs Analyst

About the role

Join Cole International’s in‑office customs brokerage team as a Customs Analyst. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate data entry, compliance, and seamless service for our clients in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and transpose invoice and shipment data into internal systems with precision.
• Monitor internal communications, respond to requests promptly, and track down missing documents.
• Generate accurate billing and invoicing for customs entries.
• Provide backup reception support and assist clients as needed.
• Support the customs analyst team with data‑driven insights and documentation handling.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold service standards and perform other administrative tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with high accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions.
• Excellent time‑management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Professional, friendly communication style, both verbal and written.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
