Customer Technology Consultant

About the role

As a Customer Technology Consultant at Clearbridge, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling tickets end‑to‑end and spending significant time on‑site to resolve hardware, network and workstation issues while building strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations across Alberta to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network and workstation problems that cannot be fixed remotely.
• Own tickets from opening to closure, investigate root causes, and ensure issues are fully resolved either on‑site or remotely.
• Build and maintain in‑person customer relationships, anticipate needs, and represent Clearbridge professionally on premises.
• Identify recurring issue patterns and proactively recommend solutions.
• Translate technical problems into plain‑language guidance for customers.

Required profile

• Customer‑obsessed mindset with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable meeting customers on their turf and explaining technical concepts in plain language.
• Ownership mentality, able to see tickets through to resolution and work independently without constant direction.
• Clear communicator who provides timely updates and documentation.
• Flexibility to work on‑call rotations and beyond typical 9‑to‑5 hours.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between sites.

Required skills

• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Office 365.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Exposure to PSA or RMM tools (preferred).
