Customer Support Specialist

About the role

Cleer is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join its Operations team in Ottawa. You will ensure the AI‑generated insurance breakdowns are accurate before they reach dental offices and step in to call insurers when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Review automated insurance breakdowns for accuracy and completeness prior to delivery.
• Contact insurers directly to complete verifications and follow‑ups when AI agents cannot.
• Investigate and resolve issues reported by dental offices, documenting outcomes.
• Identify recurring errors or failed calls and communicate findings to the product team.
• Help improve the quality‑assurance process as call volume increases.

Required profile

• Highly detail‑oriented with a strong eye for small mistakes.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone and handling gatekeepers or unhelpful reps.
• Curious about root causes and able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Organised and proficient with digital tools such as Google Workspace, Notion and spreadsheets.
• Early‑career or recent graduate; legal right to work in Canada.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Experience using Notion or similar knowledge‑base tools.
• Basic spreadsheet skills.

• Base salary of $54,000–$60,000 CAD per year.
