Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to provide phone and email support to our clients in the metal‑working industry. The successful candidate will handle inquiries, quotes, orders and returns with professionalism and accuracy, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions via phone and email, delivering clear and courteous communication.
• Prepare quotes, enter new orders, update existing orders and verify order details.
• Process and track product returns, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
• Assist with shipping updates, pricing questions and related issues.
• Provide basic product support or liaise with internal technical teams for complex queries.
• Support sales representatives with administrative tasks and product sourcing.
• Investigate complaints, troubleshoot problems and resolve customer concerns.
• Perform spot buys of non‑inventory items and provide backup coverage for team members and warehouse operations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in customer service or order processing (experience in metal cutting is a plus).
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Effective task and priority management.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
