Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative acts as the primary liaison between customers, field personnel, and internal teams for Hubbell's Construction & Energy and Commercial & Industrial product lines in an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Process and expedite customer orders while ensuring delivery commitments are met.
• Resolve inquiries from customers and sales representatives regarding product information, pricing, lead times, and custom requests.
• Coordinate with Planning, Marketing, Quality, Warehouse, and Product Management to address order issues and technical questions.
• Maintain accurate order documentation, monitor open orders and backlog reports, and manage returns, credits, debits, and shipping discrepancies.
• Promote and train customers on self‑service digital tools and platforms.
• Provide alternative product recommendations and support for technical product inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contribute to team performance goals.
• Support continuous improvement of order‑management processes.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education with a minimum two‑year program.
• CET in the Electrical discipline with strong technical knowledge.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required skills

• Electrical knowledge (CET certification).
