Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative ensures accurate entry, maintenance and management of customer sales orders for a leading office‑furniture manufacturer. You will coordinate pricing, drawings and engineering requirements to deliver a seamless experience for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process new sales orders and modifications, clarifying details with customers.
• Enter, validate and schedule orders in the ERP system, ensuring complete and accurate pricing.
• Coordinate with engineering for custom orders that require production drawings.
• Monitor production capacity, generate production orders and nesting batches.
• Audit orders for accuracy, respond to engineering and purchasing inquiries, and support priority order expediting.
• Collaborate with the order preview team and fellow Customer Service Representatives to maintain coverage.
• Apply EHS training and follow safety rules.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and ISO standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Technical drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
