Customer Service Representative (In‑Person, Toronto)

About the role

Hype Events is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join its Toronto team. The role is focused on face‑to‑face client interactions, supporting account growth and retention for a range of brands across sectors such as telecommunications, fintech, nonprofit and lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Represent client brands during in‑person customer engagements, delivering a high standard of service.
• Manage and maintain existing customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long‑term retention.
• Build professional relationships with customers to foster ongoing engagement.
• Identify opportunities for account upgrades, additional services and growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams on client acquisition and continuous account management.
• Accurately record interactions and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional, reliable and results‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail or sales is a plus but not mandatory.
